Alianza strengthens its commitment to
innovation and sustainability at IFT First 2025

With over 75 years of experience and a strong international presence, Alianza positioned itself as a strategic partner for the food industry during its participation at IFT First 2025. The company, made up of more than 2,800 professionals, develops tailor-made lipid solutions for companies in the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Europe. During the event, Alianza showcased its latest innovations in fats and oils for key categories such as confectionery, bakery, dairy, functional foods, sauces, and dressings. These solutions are designed to deliver outstanding technical performance, superior sensory benefits, and address the most relevant market trends.

Among the highlights was the presentation of new technologies under the Mirror platform, designed to replicate the performance of traditional ingredients with cleaner, more sustainable profiles. These include MirrorChoc, which enables better heat resistance and texture in chocolate coatings; MirrorPKO, a non-tropical fat alternative with excellent crystallization behavior for whipped creams; MirrorColor, which enhances color shine and intensity in bakery and snacks; and MirrorSweet, developed to support sugar reduction without compromising flavor or texture. In the area of functional foods, Alianza introduced FF-MC, an advanced blend of specialty lipids and phytonutrients designed to support metabolic balance and improve key health markers.

As part of the event, Alianza also announced a major milestone in its U.S. expansion: the opening of a new plant in Goldsboro, North Carolina, scheduled for September. This facility will enhance its ability to serve local clients with greater proximity, speed, and customization.

Sustainability is a core pillar of Alianza’s strategy and a transversal commitment across all operations. In February 2025, the company was ranked #13 globally in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which underpins the Dow Jones Sustainability Index—reinforcing its dedication to responsible practices and business models with a positive impact on the industry and its ecosystems.
